Building Closure and Event Cancellation Policy

While every effort is made to ensure we maintain all regular schedules of worship and events, if weather and road conditions are poor and no travel is advised, we will issue a building closure and all events will be cancelled. Cancellation Announcements will be posted by 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday or by 7:00 a.m. Saturday – Sunday. You can view cancellations on our website (www.goodshepherbismarck.com), social media locations (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the GSLC App) and KFYR radio (550 AM). You can also call the church office for automated voicemail updates on cancellations.

In the event the building has a major issue, leaving it uninhabitable or unsafe for entry, we will issue a building closure and all events will be cancelled. You can view cancellations in the same locations as with weather related cancellations. You can also call the church office for automated voicemail updates on cancellations.

The church facilities are always closed on Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day and New Year’s Day.
