Book of Faith Website
http://www.bookoffaith.org

The Book of Faith is a five-year initiative in the ELCA that calls us as individuals and as a church to experience more fully the power of God's Word and to recall or learn anew the Lutheran appoaches to Scripture that have been so fruitful over the centuries.

We are CALLED to be God's children and God's servants.

Our faith is RENEWED.

Our conversation and interaction is ENLIVENED as we share the Word.

We are EMPOWERED to serve.

We are SENT to be God's hands in the world, to let Christ's light shine through us.

We are offering Book of Faith retreats several times a year to assist in engaging in understand and conversation with the first language of our faith - the language of Scripture. Our next retreat will be held in January 2009. Please make plans to join us.

If you would like to be notified when Book of Faith events take place at Good Shepherd, please contact Music & Worship Minister Craig Schweitzer at craig@goodshepherdbismarck.com.
