GOD BLESS YOUR WEDDING DAY
Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life. Very properly you want God’s blessing on this occasion and desire to have your vows consecrated by the Word of God and prayer. Beautiful flowers, dresses, and decorations have their place on this joyous occasion. Yet, you know that tremendously more important than these is the blessing at Cana with God’s presence and promise to bless you forever with Christ’s unending, unconditional love.
For these reasons it is proper to have your wedding in church and to have the ceremony be, in the true sense of the word, a service of worship in which Jesus remains central and the Word of God and prayer receive their rightful place. The Lord will bless your vows to one another and help to make your wedding day and important step in the building up of your marriage.
